Harlynn Cowl & Infinity
Hello Friends!!
The kids are back in school and we are all establishing our routines. Getting back into routine was difficult after being out of routine for 6 months but we are all adjusting well!
How are you all doing after the first few weeks of school?
There were a lot of nerves and unknowns the first week but now that we are in our second week, I feel like our school has things under control.
It’s a relief and my little loves are loving being back in school. They missed it so much and they come home with smiles and all their stories for the day.
Once school resumes in the fall, the weather starts to change in Alberta.
It gets colder in the morning and takes much longer to warm up. My children end up dressing for all the seasons the first month of school.
Winter in the morning, autumn by recess and summer in the afternoon. It’s anything goes here in Alberta but I love living here.
Changing Weathers!
For a crocheter, the weather change is no match. We get to make all the warm and cozy things which is why this week’s crochet pattern is the Harlynn Cowl and Infinity Scarf!
It’s made with Charisma yarn, which is so incredibly soft.
This cowl works up in about an hour and is sure to keep you warm at school drop off and pick up.
Do you prefer cowls or infinity scarves?
I think they both have their moments in the sun. For me, it depends on how cold it is outside.
If it’s really cold, infinity scarf all the way but you don’t have to choose just one because this crochet pattern has both options! You can make your preference, or you can make both options.
