jack frost headband

Hey friends!

Christmas is a week away and the kids are done school until the new year. It has been crazy here to say the least but it has been fun for the most part.

My oldest son made his teacher a gift on my knitting machine and my littlest son picked through my stock items for his teacher.

I have been baking and getting crafts ready for the kids to do over the holidays and just trying to make this year memorable for good things and not just the negative things.

Are you ready for the Holidays?

I am officially done Christmas crochet items and now I can take a small break and spend time with my little family.

Unfortunately, we don’t get to spend the holidays with out extended family but we will make the best of it and we have planned video chats on Christmas day.

We will continue with a small Christmas dinner and do as many of the traditions that we can.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season.

I pray that we all find little joys this season and find creative ways to spend time with family while not being able to be together in person.

I am hopeful that this coming year will bring a promise of normality and that we never take our loved ones for granted.

Cherish the time that we have been given together.

Are you still looking for last minute gifts?  How about making the Jack Frost Headband?!  It works up quickly, is super cute and is todays free crochet pattern!!

Notes: Written in US terminology.  If you are having trouble matching the gauge, you may need to go up or down a hook size. All CH1 do not count as a stitch.  You can use any light 5-weight yarn like Lion Brand Scarfie or Loops and Threads Barcelona.  You will notice that the body of headband will be slightly wider than the ribbed band. This is okay.
