Linden Card Keychain

Hey friends!

I can’t believe how quickly November came and went! I blinked and it was gone.  I suppose that this is quite normal for this time of year. Getting ready for the holidays seems to fly by in heartbeat.

November was filled with many things. I went into med failure and started a biological for my rheumatoid arthritis. It makes me very hopeful that I may see some relief and hopefully, not feeling swollen and painful joints. I’ll keep praying and keeps my fingers crossed.

My son contracted covid and that had me super worried with his asthma. Thankfully, he was fine with minimal symptoms or issues. Both my sons were home for two weeks and let me tell you, I am not a very good math teacher, haha. It felt so good dropping my boys off at school today, they were so excited to see their friends and participate in all the Christmas events the school has planned. I’m just grateful things are settling and I can jump back into my own work.

Are You Ready For The Holidays?

I am not ready quite yet, which is unusual for me. I tend to have all of my shopping done by mid November..  yeah, yeah, I am that person, haha. This year has not worked out that way and I won’t lie, I am stressing about it a little bit but I know I will get everything done and ready on time.

Last year, we were in lockdown and had to spend Christmas with family over computer screens. It was ideal but it was still a way we were able to spend some quality time with everyone, while staying sage.  It does make this year that much more exciting to actually spend it with our family. I can’t wait for my kids to play with their cousins and have grandma cuddles. Though, we are missing a very special person this year, I know Papa will be there in our hearts and we will have a glass of wine for him.

Are You A Last Minute Shopper?

On another note, I have a really fun project for you this week. It is a perfect make for all of your children’s teachers, coworkers, stocking stuffers or white elephant gift exchanges!

The Linden Card Keychain is perfect piece to make in the recipients favourite colours. Pop in a gift card to their favourite store or two, pair it with a Linden Cup Cozy and I think you have a pretty fantastic gift! It’s great because it’s not sometime they can only use at Christmas, this is a great piece to use when you only want to bring your ID and debit/credit card without a big bag or purse. Plus, it is a quick and easy crochet make, which we all love.
