Overcomer Shawl: Week 4

Hey friends!

Can you believe that we are on the final week of the Overcomer Shawl?? It went so fast but it has been so much fun. It wouldn’t have been as fun without everyone of you who has participated along with me.

I have really enjoyed seeing all of your work in progress pictures, comments, questions but most of all, I have loved seeing the love and sense of community you all have added to this CAL! I personally had something happen while running this crochet along and you were so supportive, loving and caring!

Thank you for being an essential part of a community over competition group. This has always been important to me. I have lost friendships due to them being over competitive and having a me, me, me mindset.

I will always choose to build people up rather than tear them down.

Community over Competition

Made By Crystal, Simply Smith Creations

It’s week 4 of the Overcomer Shawl and I just cant wait to see all of your work in progress photos and your finished shawls.

This week is going to consist of a new combinations of stitches, a new colour and finishing instructions to wrap up this CAL. Your first fall 2021 accessory will be completed and ready to go.

It ALMOST makes me excited for the weather to cool down.. I said almost.. I really shouldn’t rush the warm weather away just yet!
